SInce its completion as the men's dorimitory at Stanford University, Encina Hall has seen at least two full-scale renovations.

The Online Archive of CA indicated that the San Francisco architectural firm of Weihe, Frick, and Kruse, Architects, worked on an Encina Hall remodeling after World War II. (See Online Archive of, "Weihe, Frick & Kruse Collection, 1917-1976," accessed 02/04/2024.)
