The City of Ontario, CA, built twin airport terminals to upgrade its service and to become a faster, more effortless take-off point than the crowded Los Angeles International Airport. Each terminal contained 265,000 square-feet and was two stories tall, with check-in on the first floor, gates on the second. It opened on 09/27/1998 at a cost of $270 million.
