Several architects, developers and a surveying firm had offices in the Bassi-Jones Building in the 1970s. Black and Caldwell, Building Contractors, and Jones-Bassi, Surveyors, had its headquarters here. The latter owned the building. In 1978, architect Gerald Cichanski also opened an office in the Bassi-Jones Building.
