This $10,000 model house, erected across the street from the Boeing Assembly Plant, was to be built in a day to attract publicity. This small dwelling was being underbuilt in Renton, WA, in the mid-1950s where thousands of blue-collar Boeing Plant workers required low-cost habitation. The house would remain on the site for six months, be sold and moved to a new property. Profits went to the investing builders comprising the Renton Suburban Development Corporation.
