Joseph Musso and Joseph Carissimi started this restaurant, Progress, in Portland, OR in 1910. In 1925, Musso bought a partnership interest in Frank's Cafe in Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA; this venture was renamed "Frank and Musso's Grill," the oldest restaurant in Hollywood.
