Located on Mission Street at Ocean Avenue;

The Excelsior (Granada) in the Mission District seated 1421 people; one of its vertical advertising signs was brought over from the former Granada Theatre on Market Street, when its name changed to the Paramount;

It opened as the Excelsior Theatre around 1922; it was remodeled and re-opened as the Granada, 10/3/1931;

It closed in 11/1982;
