This Cascade Bank branch demonstrated the "waffle slab" reinforced concrete roof system, very popular with banks of the 1970s. Designed with a peripteral colonnade (some of the columns being engaged piers), the bank continued the templar trope begun by Neo-classical banks of the earlier 20th century.
