Reverend R. L. Richardson built a house on this property at North Oakland Avenue and Ford Place in Pasadena, CA. In 1925, the University Club of Pasadena, purchased the house and surrounding vacant property on which to erect its first freestanding club house. (From 1922-1926, the club met in rented space in the Hotel Green.)
