Originally, the Seattle Public Schools built this building as an annex to the Main Street School. Its main decorative feature is its portico supported by 4 columns with Ionic capitals.

This Neo-classical, domestically-scale office building occupied a 3,300 sq. ft. (0.08 acre) lot and contained 1,846 square feet in 2010. At that time, its taxable value was $452,900 and was used to house dental offices. The King County Parcel Viewer assigned a completion date of 1900. Lawrence Kreisman, in Historic Preservation in Seattle, (Seattle, WA: Historic Seattle Preservation and Development Authority, 1985), p. 88, put its date at 1903.
