The Courson and Muzzall Hall Dormitories had 477 beds configured on 9 stories.

Demolished; the Courson and Muzzall Hall Dormitories were demolished in 2008. According to the campus alumni periodical, "Central Alumni," the dorms were torn down "...when maintenance and upkeep costs began to exceed the revenue the buildings generated." ("Central Alumni," p. 4; SeeAccessed 02/24/2010.) The dorms were to be replaced by landscaped grounds; discussions occurred in 10/2009 to pave the lot for parking instead to provide revenue for the university. This suggestion was vetoed and plans for "Welcome Plaza" went forward in 2009.
