Overview

The Bikur Cholim congregation was established in 1891, making it the oldest synagogue in WA State. It moved to this location about 1964, a design worked on by architect B. Marcus Priteca and Bernard Stertzer. In 1971, the Bikkur Cholim and Machzikay Hadath synagogues joined together, creating the need for a larger space. This unified group completed its new synagogue on 01/22/1972.
