Demolition
A portion of the Marquam Building collapsed during the morning of 11/11/1912. Ownership of the building decided to raze the building in 1913 rather than repair it, as publicity surrounding the collapse had tainted it for future tenants. The Northwestern National Bank Building replaced it on the site.
