This office building designed by Homer Delawie for himself, won an Award of Excellence from the American Institute of Architects, San Diego Chapter in 1962. Judges for the competition were: John O. Merrill, Jr., Chairman, San Francisco, CA; A. Quincy Jones, Los Angeles, CA; Edward A. Killingsworth, Long Beach, CA; Samuel T. Hurst, Dean, University of Southern California, School of Architecture; Jackson Woolley an artist from San Diego, was also on the jury.
