The Georgetown Pharmacy closed on 09/30/2009, owned by pharmacist Jack Cordova since 1962; Cordova built up a loyal following in the blue-collar Georgetown Neighborhood by providing compassionate, personalized service and working 12 hour days without vacations for 47 years. His drug store was well known for its low prices and eclectic inventory.
