In 2003, three developers, Tom Gilmore, Jerri Perroni and Robert A. Jones, owned the cathedral, and had plans to renovate it into a community performing arts center.
Saint Vibiana's was reputed to have cost $75,000, according to the occasionally reliable architect/architectural biographer, Henry Withey (1880-1969).
