This building and its neighbor to the north, the Mystic Hotel (1907, later the Schillestad Building), are referred to as the "Young Hotel and Schillestad Buildings" on the National Register of Historic Places. The Baist Seattle map of 1905 indicated that a "Young Building" was located at about 115 Washington Street in Pioneer Square.
