The Foster School Building, erected at a cost of $16.3 million, was composed of the Albert O. and Evelyn Foster Business Library, the 125-seat Boeing Auditorium, and the Seafirst (later Bank of America) Executive Education Center. In the Seafirst Center, a fourth floor meeting room, named the James B. Douglas Executive Forum, served as a nexus point for the school. The Foster School opened in late 1996, funded by public appropriations and matching private donations.

In 2009, this was one of five buildings occupied by the Michael G. Foster School of Business Administration on the Seattle campus and in Kirkland, WA.
