Born in Montclair, NJ, in 1915, William Prescott Miller attended Yale University and moved to Seattle in 1966 to work as Product Development Manager on the Supersonic Transport (SST) Project at Boeing Corporation. He retired from Boeing in 1981. He and his wife, Elizabeth, raised three daughters and a son.
