Rancho San Antonio covered what became Vernon, South Gate, Huntington Park, Walnut Park and Lynwood, CA.

Antonio Maria Lugo received the land grant that formed Rancho San Antonio in 1810. This land eventually would become the cities of Vernon, South Gate, Huntington Park, Walnut Park and Lynwood. A large Firestone Tire Company Factory occupied a chunk of what was the Rancho San Antonio.
