Adjacent to the hotel were 450 acres dedicated to lemon and avocado production and 10 acres producing organic fruits and vegetables for consumption at Bacara. The hotel had 3 heated swimming pools, 2 miles of oceanfront beach, 25,000-square feet of meeting space, an executive conference center, a theatre with 211 seats, 2 18-hole golf courses, 4 bars, 3 restaurants, and a 42,000-square-foot spa.
