This motel opened in 05/1952 and catered to traffic on the Bayshore Highway as it entered San Francisco, CA.

The wood frame and stucco hotel had a series of buildings (containing 43 rooms c. 1952) that climbed up and down hilly terrain. The buildings were joined by exterior corridors. A central tower, attempting to refer to the state's Mission architecture, stood in the center of the property, marking the office.
