The Cascadian Hotel was in operation c. 1947. This brick faced hotel had some Art Deco ornamentation at the cornice line and a large neon sign on the roof that spelled out "Cascadian." Marquis signage covering the front entrance advertised (c. 1947) that the hotel was fireproof, reasonably priced and air-cooled. The Casacadian had a blocky exterior, with a central 10-story portion jutting above narrower 6-story wings.
