Lake Hollywood Reservoir

Construction of the Lake Hollywood Reservoir began in 08/1923 and began operation in 1925. Mulholland Dam that fed the reservoir was finished in 12/1924. Both projects were supervised by the legendary Chief Engineer of the City of Los Angeles, William Mulholland.

When built this reservoir had the capacity of 2.5 billion gallons of water.
