Building History

Musicians Kurt Cobain and his wife, Courtney Love, bought this house for $1.13 million in 01/1994. Cobain committed suicide in the garage/greenhouse in the back of the property a few days before 04/08/1994, when his body was found by an electrician visiting the residence. This separate garage/greenhouse was demolished in 1996. Courtney Love sold the house in 1997 and moved to Beverly Hills, CA, with their daughter, Frances Bean Cobain.
