Building History

The Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity originated at Yale University in 1804. The University of Washington Chapter formed in 1911. (See University of Washington Tyee Yearbook, 1932, p. 227.)

Seattle architect Harlan Thomas designed at least two Greek houses on the University of Washington campus, this Georgian Revival style dwelling and the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority House (1930).
