Tel: (415) 454-4603 (2008); the Ross Valley School District named this facility for Wade Franklin Thomas (1880-1946), who served as a teacher and school administrator in San Anselmo, CA, for 39 years.

The first, northwestern wing of this school dated to 1946; it replaced a second "Main School" serving San Anselmo. A new wing and playground were added to the 1946 portion in the early 1960s. The Frank and Harriet Vail House at 130 Ross Avenue was demolished to make room for this new school addition.
