Spokane architect Albert Held designed this V-shaped apartment block to conform to the acute diagonal intersection of West Riverside Avenue and Sprague Avenue. Three stories tall with a brick exterior and Romanesque detailing, it was completed in 1904, and was meant to attract upper-middle class professionals coming to Spokane.
