This store in the 1300 block of 5th Avenue (at Union Street) in Downtown, Seattle, WA, operated from 1926-1954, when San Francisco-based Magnin's built another department store near the Frederick and Nelson flagship in 1954. When it first opened in 1926, Magnin specialized in women's and misses' apparel and accessories.

M.L. Camp, manager of the Seattle I. Magnin store, supervised a remodeling that occurred in 1934. It reopened to customers in 09/1934.
