The Fremont Tavern was moved 05/2001 from its original location on Fremont Avenue North to a location a block west to Evanston Avenue North and North 34th Street; it was rebuilt and renamed the Red Door Ale House, 3401 Evanston Ave North. Its telephone, (206) 547-7521.

In 1972, the Fremont Tavern stood next to Tommy's Joint Cafe.
