The developer, San Francisco-based Wilson Meany Sullivan, backed the demolition of the former horse racing facility to build 715,000-square-feet of Class A office space, 6 residential developments, parks, and commercial spaces along Delaware Street. The developer sought to demolish the former race track in 2008-2009, and complete the complex by 2014. The following architecture firms were named to design residential units: Cooper, Robertson and Partners (master planning and residential design), MVE Studio, MBH, William Hezmahalch Architects, KTGY Group and Mithun. Landscape architects were to include: CMG Landscape Architecture (parks and public area landscape design) and Van Dorn Abed Landscape Architects (private block landscape design); Arup was hired to supervise infrastructure civil engineering; CBG Consultants would oversee private block civil engineering. Cleveland Wrecking Company was the Demolition Contractor, Top Grade Construction the Infrastructure Contractor.
