This Los Angeles Preservation Overlay Zone consisted of the 1200 blocks of Lakme Avenue, Cary Avenue, and Banning Boulevard (between East L Street and East M Street) in East Wilmington. William Wrigley, Jr., originally owned this parcel of land c. 1927 that was developed in the 1930s-1940s by Sid Spearing.
