Somervell and Putnam designed this 11-story office building for the Montreal, QC-based jewelry company, Henry Birks and Sons. Like many jewelry shops in the early part of the 20th century, this jewelry store had a large street clock positioned just outside its entry doors both as a public amenity and as an advertising sign.
Demolished; torn down in 1974 to clear room for the Vancouver Centre Complex.
