In 2008, this three-bedroom house was up for sale with an asking price of $629,000. Steinbrueck did another house for the Northwest modern painter, Alden Mason (b. 1919), in 1951, this one near Richmond Beach. Seattle Post-Intelligencer Art Critic, Regina Hackett has described Mason as "restless," a characteristic suggested by his commissioning of two new houses by the same architect within five years.
The first Mason House had two levels, with living/sleeping areas on the first, and a studio in the lower level.
