This terminal, the first at the Orange County Airport opened for commercial travelers, was named for the aviator, Eddie Martin, who opened a flight school on this land, then-owned by the Irvine Corporation, in 1923.

By 2008 standards, this 29,000-square-foot terminal was very small; the later 337,900-square-foot Riley terminal contained enhanced gate, passenger loading, and traveler amenities.

Demolished in 1994. The Martin terminal was deemed superfluous after the construction of the Tom Riley Terminal in 1990.
