The architectural tandem of W. Horace Austin (1881-1942) and Kenneth S. Wing (1901-1986) collaborated to design the Long Beach Municipal Airport Main Terminal Building, completed in 1941. The long, two-floor building had the look of a streamlined ship of the day, complete with "deck" and railing on the roof.
