The dates for this house project came from Arvilla McGuire in a telephone conversation with Alan Michelson, 06/18/2008.

Building Notes

Unbuilt; the Depression intervened to stop the construction of this house, for which Mayhew had already drawn up plans. Arvilla McGuire, the daughter of Hollister and Tessa, later married Edward M. Manning, Jr., who commissioned Mayhew to design at least two Manning's restaurants on the West Coast.
