Richard, Peter and William Moran opened their first machine shop on Yesler's Wharf in 1882. As Seattle had entered a rapid growth spurt and the city's need for trained machinsts was high, their business expanded rapidly. This was their second machine shop located on Western Avenue.
Demolished; this Moran Brothers machine shop burned in the Great Seattle Fire of 06/06/2014.
