The Mission Style Bell Tower at Mills College was an early commission for Morgan; she would also design the Carnegie Library and Alumnae Hall on the Mills campus.

This Mission Revival campanile withstood the 1906 earthquake in the Bay Area, earning Morgan some other commissions, such as the rebuilding of the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, CA.
