This 4-story, mixed-use retail/apartment building had "Jacobethan," cast-stone ornamentation (to use Marcus Whiffen's term) on its front facade, seen particularly around the main apartment entry. The building occupied a 4,650-square-foot, .11-acre property. The Devoe Building contained 13,873 gross square feet, 12,712 net and had a wood frame. In 2010, the building had its top three floors divided into 17 apartments, each averaging 615 square feet. Some of the building's space (1,161 square feet) was used purely for storage. The building and land had an assessed value of $1.915 million in 2010.
