The Palm Desert Lodge closed 04/01/2008; it had operated in Palm Desert at 74-527 Highway 111 since the 1950s.

Cary Ezell of Huntington Beach, CA, bought the road sign for the motel on eBay for $2,000 after the motel shut in 04/2008.

Demolished. It was torn down to make room for a Long's Drug Store.
