This small business building operated from 1910-2000, when it closed. The building contained 4,800 square feet of space that included a storage shed and garage.

The City of Medina fought with the owner of the Medina Grocery and Deli, Hae Lee, over changes made to the historic store. lee demolished the original store, and some in Medina, a town that took pride in its rural character, objected to the new design.
