The Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego opened in 12/2007. When opened, the hotel also contained a Nobu Restaurant, Maryjane's Coffee Shop, two bars, the Sweetwater Saloon, the Moonstone Lounge (situated next to a rooftop swimming pool), and a 9,000-square-foot outdoor performance venue known as Woodstock.

The hotel was 12 stories tall and contained 420 rooms when built. All guest chambers were divided into three cost levels: Studios, Hard Rock Suites, and Rock Star Suites; actual, card-carrying rock stars, like the Black Eyed Peas, designed the the 17 Rock Star Suites. Tel: 866.751.7625 (2008);
