Andrew Henrich and John Kopp began this brewery in Seattle, WA, in 1883; Kopp sold his interest to Hemrich's brewmaster father, John H. Hemrich, and thereafter the brewery came to be known as "Hemrich and Company." This brewery was rebuilt c. 1887.
