When built this palatial estate covered 250 acres. The dwelling was designed in the Tudor Revival Style in 1931, a bit late, but its details were archaeologically correct. The basically H-Shaped house plan had an L-shaped servants wing attached to its motor court. A palatial drawing room looked out on a formal courtyard.
