The local Walla Walla newspaper touted the building as "the finest building north of San Francisco." It stood two stories tall, with an arched cast iron facade. The columns between the arches were gilded. Interior space was lofty, with ceilings 16 feet high. Sigmund Schwabacher had an elevated glass perch in one corner from which he could observe activities in the store.

Demolished.
