Service began at this station on 05/01/1938 and ended when the Santa Fe stopped passenger travel in 1971.

The small Orange, CA, depot was done in a simplified version of the Spanish Colonial Revival Style. The station consisted of several gabled, stuccoed sections, each topped with Spanish tile, lining the railroad tracks.
