The State of Washington Department of Corrections agreed to pay $2.25 million in 03/2008 to the families of five children wounded or traumatized by a Washington prison parolee. (Another person, mailcarrier Joseph Ileto, was also killed in this rampage.) Buford Farrow, who was 46 in 2008, plead guilty to the 2001 shootings and received life in prison.
