David Ross, Partner in Charge, for Frederick Fisher and Partners, designed the studio for Chadwick, an internationally-known furniture designer. Construction was completed in 2005.
The Chadwick Studio, completed in 2005, was located on a 2,500-sqaure foot lot across the driveway form Chadwick's residence. It had 1,800 square feet accommodating Chadwick and two-person staff. The Cahdwick Studio won the following awards: Residential Category Award, National Concrete Masonry Association's 2007 Design Awards of Excellence; a local award from The Concrete Masonry Association of California and Nevada, that was featured in the organization's periodical, Profiles in Architecture, c. 2006.
