The Welton House was completed in 11/2001, and contained 2,800 square feet, this including a two-car garage and rental cottage. Welton lived here with his family.
The Welton House received an Honor Award from the American Institute of Architects, East Bay Chapter, in 2006. It also won an Award of Honor, Commercial Division, in the Concrete Masonry Designs Magazine Awards Progam, 02/2008. Kirk Welton is a General Contractor and built this house for himself. Architects were Rinehart Herbst of San Diego, CA; the engineers were Paul Endres and Rudabeth Pakravan of Endres Ware Architects Engineers, Berkeley, CA. Masonry Contractor was Walton And Sons Masonry, Incorporated, Mountain View, CA.
