The Union Oil Company of California built this refinery and operated it from 1955-1983; UNOCAL operated this plant from 1983-1997; the large-scale oil refining company, Tosco Corporation ran it from 1997-2001; Phillips owned it from 2001-2002; Conoco-Phillips purchased in 2002 and has operated it to the present;

This plant, producing wet natural gas, was in operation c. 1963. In 2008, it had the capacity to produce 41,800 barrels of petroleum products.
